About the Instructor
Ms Patrick has been writing grants since 2001. She is a highly sought-after grant writer, reviewer and teacher. Over the past 12 years, she has taught grant writing workshops for the CDC in Atlanta, AFLAC, and most recently, she partnered with Atlanta Technical College to teach a fundamentals of grant writing course on campus.
Ms. Patrick has reviewed grants for a variety of federal and state agencies, including the the Administration of Children, Youth and Families, SAMHSA (Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Agency), the Georgia Dept of Education, and the Georgia Department of Human Resources.
She has worked as a professional Grant Writer for private nonprofits, state agencies, and local city governments. Her grant writing skills have secured millions of dollars in funding. She brings that diverse background of experiences to the classroom.
